Social and leisure activities are held in local community facilities. Transport can be provided at £2 per return journey.PALS enables people who are physically fit but experience some degree of mental disability due to dementia to continue to enjoy leisure activities with the support of a care worker/Pal. The scheme enables people to maintain skills and gives carers a short respite. Clients chose the activity at a time mutually convenient to Pal and client. The client pays their own expenses and contributes to the Pals travel. Disabled facilities are dependent according to activity.
